Thuya (Tetraclinis articulata) is more like a large shrub than a tree, growing multiple stems. It is found in the Atlas Mountains of North West Africa. The burls are Basel, forming at or below ground level. Our burls were from recovered stumps left in the ground when the tops were cut many years ago.
