Black and White ebony is found in South East Asia, and most commonly Laos. The heartwood color ranges from creamy white to yellow, with dark ebony streaks throughout. Striking black lines against a white background, uniform texture and good natural luster make this a unique and exquisite timber. It works well after being carefully air-dried. It is used for turned objects, inlay, and other artisan wood projects.
